Sargamassa

S'Argamassa is situated at 3,5 kilometres from Santa Eulària des Riu, located between Cala Prada-en Marcús and Ca na Marina, as well as next to the village with the same name. From the coastline you can see the islands and small islands of en Caragoler, en Moreneller, Illa Rodona and Illa de Santa Eulària or Illa Gran.

This coastal stretch is comfortable and calm, and it is formed by some coves which follow each other and which are very small. The beach has a substract of sand and the slope is quite gentle (at 50 metres from the coast there is a depth of only two metres).

These small coves with transparent water are open to the wind from the south, which normally blows from the sea and which is quite moderate.

The sand and the rocky areas are covered by seaweed on the ground, so that diving on surface is recommended. The nearest port facilities are located at Port Esportiu Santa Eulària des Riu.

The accessibility by car is easy following the signs. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. You can also reach this beach with the public transport or by bicycle. The nearest bus stop is located at three hectometres.

In the surroundings there is an archeological site: an aqueduct (425 metres), an industrial infrastructure (1st century AD), as well as a rural-marine site (Roman and Byzantine Empire).

These characteristics explain that the beach is not too crowded by local visitors and tourists.
