Es Port or Cala des/d'es Torrent is situated at five kilometres from Sant Antoni de Portmany, located between Caló de s’Oli and Punta de sa Pedrera, as well as next to the village with the same name and ses Fontanelles, which have respected the small pine wood which reaches this sandy area. the name is given by the torrent that used to irrigate this area in the past.
The beach is characterized by being a beautiful sea inlet, l-shaped, as well as by the big size and the orientation toward southeast. The beach has fine-grained golden sand and a gentle slope (at 50 metres from the coast there is a depth of less than 1,7 metres) and the wind blows gently from the sea or from the side.
