Talamanca

Cala Talamanca is situated at 2,5 kilometres from Eivissa, between Punta Tabernera and s'Andreus. It is a very calm sandy area comfortable for sunbathing or swimming in quiet water with no dangers at all. This fact explains that it is very frequented by families.
This beach is a closed sea inlet, not very deep, sheltered from the wind, and quite big. Its dimensions are the biggest of the municipality of Ciutat d'Eivissa, although there are no agglomerations in this area.

The natural beach has fine-grained white sand with some rocky areas on the sides. The orientation is toward south-southeast, the slope is very gentle (at 50 metres from the coast there is a depth of only one and a half metres), moderate wind from the south and a sandy ground with some areas covered by seaweed, which allows anchoring small boats. On the right side of this cove there is Raconet de s'Amarador, where lots of boats moor.

The accessibility by car is easy following the signs. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. You can also reach this beach with the public transport. The nearest bus stop is located at 100 metres.

The small and long headland of es Botafoc separates Cala Talamanca from Port d'Eivissa, which allows to walk to the nearby Illa Plana, es Freuet, Illa Grossa, Punta Grossa, es Botafoc, Far des Botafoc (from here you will have an excellent panoramic view over Dalt Vila) or Platja des Duros.
