Figueretas
Ses Figueretes belongs to the coast of Ciutat d'Eivissa, between Salt de s'Ase (Dalt Vila) and Punta de Baix (es Viver), and it is the name of one of the suburbs. This fact explains that it is an urban beach, with good dimensions, one of the most frequented sandy areas of Pitiüses and one of the places where you have the most beautiful views of Dalt Vila.
This coastal stretch is formed by some u-shaped sea inlets, separated by breakwaters and with buildings that reach the coastline, and the swimming pools of some hotels are adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea. The beach in these inlets is covered by fine-grained, white natural sand. The orientation is toward east-southeast with wind blowing from the sea, although it is quite sheltered from the swell because it is a closed bay.
This beach has a gentle slope (at 50 metres from the coast there is a depth of 1,2 metres). It has a sandy ground, except on the sides and the areas next to the breakwaters, where there are rocks. From the coast you can see small islands and reefs Escullets de sa Corbeta, sa Corbeta o Illa Negra de l’Oest, Illa de ses Rates and Escullet de s’Illa de ses Rates.
The accessibility by car is easy following the signs. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. You can also reach this beach with the public transport. The nearest bus stop is located at 100 metres.
