Caló des Moro

Caló des Moro is situated at one kilometre from Sant Antoni de Portmany, located on the northern coastline of the bay of Sant Antoni de Portmany, between Roca Baixa and Port de Sant Antoni, aswell as below the headland of sa Talaia which is entirely covered by a thick pinewood.

This beach is characterized by being quite small, it has fine-grained white sand from the underwater sandbanks which have been introduced artificially, rocky sides, an orientation toward west, a steep slope (at less than 30 metres from the coast there is a depth of more than two metres), it is sheltered from the wind and has a sandy ground. It is also surrounded by a lot of touristic buildings, so that the beach is quite crowded by local visitors and tourists.

From Caló des Moro you can start a walk on the pedestrian sea promenade along the sea toward north which takes you to the coves of Gració and Gracioneta, where you can enjoy excellent panoramic views over the bay, or until the nearby and very small beach Cala Tànit, it is only five metres large and two metres long, so that it is the smallest beach of Eivissa. On the other hand you can walk toward south to follow the coastline of the village of Sant Antoni de Portmany until its port.

The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. You can also reach this beach with the public transport. The nearest bus stop is located at two hectometres.
